Void Property Works & Clearance

Clearance and disposal

Void properties are cleared in full, including furniture, floor coverings and accumulated waste. ABM is a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency, so disposal is documented rather than being someone else's problem once the van leaves.

Reinstatement to re-let standard

Once cleared, the property is brought back to a lettable condition: repairs, replastering and making good, decoration, flooring, and kitchen or bathroom replacement where the void inspection calls for it. Gas and electrical safety checks are carried out and certificated before the property is handed back.

Because clearance, refurbishment and certification are all handled by one contractor, the void does not sit idle waiting for a trade to become available.
